This is a review of the Sookie Stackhouse short story “Two Blondes” by Charlaine Harris. It can be found in the anthology “Death’s Excellent Vacation”.
“Two Blondes” takes place after “Dead and Gone“.
Pam invites Sookie on a vacation (of sorts) to Tunica, Mississippi. But it’s not all gambling and casino hopping for Pam and Sookie. They are also on errand for the new Area 5 sheriff, Victor.
They must visit the vampire owner of a strip-club called “Blonde”, Michael, to see if he will defect from Mississippi to join Louisiana and King Felipe De Castro.
The task sounds simple enough, but of course, this is a Sookie story and something goes awry.
Strippers, vampires and other supernatural creatures star in this funny short story by Charlaine Harris.
