Shakespeare’s Christmas

This is a review of “Shakespeare’s Christmas” by Charlaine Harris. It is the 3rd book in The Lily Bard Series. It follows on from “Shakespeare’s Champion“.

In this book Lily heads home to Bartley, Arkansas for Christmas and her sister’s Wedding. She has been asked to be a bridesmaid. When her new boyfriend Jack turns up in town, she is glad for the support, but somewhat apprehensive about introducing him to her family.

However, Jack is also there to solve a case. A kidnapping case. Varena’s (her sister) lover has a young daughter who seems to share a resemblance to the young girl who was kidnapped. There are more girls around the same age, so it is up to Lily to solve a mystery yet again, and to ensure that her sister is indeed marrying the man she thinks she is.

A good read.
